Hello all, Mary Ellen here.

I’ve been remiss in not writing anything for this blog in so long. I’ll try to do better. (Comments from readers help to motivate me to write. At least I know then that I’m not just talking to myself. Hint! Hint!)

I’ve seen photos of this statue called “Dignity” before, but hadn’t seen the nice story that I came across today. This would be a great destination for a vacation trip to South Dakota. One could have a stop at Mount Rushmore as well.

Here’s a link to the story: click here.

That was very interesting! I would love to go to South Dakota to see Diginity in person. I’ve never been to that part of the country.

  2. Sharon M Militello says:

I have never heard of this before. She is beautiful and interesting
    Thank you for sharing

  3. JoAnne Greco says:

Thank you for the beautiful reminder of respect across cultures and traditions. It’s an inspiring sculpture with renditions to simpler times including quilting for necessity and beauty.

  4. Janet Reilly says:

    Interesting article – thank you.

  5. Mary Carroll says:

Thanks for sharing, In addition to the whole statue the visitors are exposed to a beautiful quilt pattern.
